Dethroned Miss Nevada back on the scene
February 15, 2008 - 10:00 pm
It didn’t take long for Katie Rees to get back in the swing of things on the nightlife scene following her recent run-in with the law.
Rees, the former Miss Nevada USA who was dethroned during her reign after racy photos of her appeared on the Internet, showed up at Sunday’s “Women of the Night” party at The Bank nightclub inside Bellagio.
Dressed in a sexy black-and-white-striped dress, Rees looked happy as ever as she mingled with fellow honorees and “Beacher’s Madhouse” producer Jeff Beacher.
It was a much better scene for Rees than it was Wednesday when the 23-year-old was arrested and jailed for around 12 hours at the Clark County Detention Center after allegedly assaulting a police officer.
Fat Joe coming to Privé — Things at Privé nightclub continue to remain hot on Mondays, with music star Fat Joe set to become the latest performer to host the weekly “Money for Nothing” party at the Planet Hollywood Resort venue.
Fat Joe has been a part of several hits, including “What’s Luv” with Ashanti and Ja Rule, “Get It Poppin” and “Lean Back.”
But the most anticipated song of the night will be “Make It Rain,” which perfectly ties in to the theme of Privé’s Monday party.
Don’t be surprised if thousands of dollars fall from the sky during his performance.
Paris taking over Pussycat Dolls Lounge — Socialite Paris Hilton will transform into a burlesque dancer during her birthday-weekend celebration as she performs tonight with the Las Vegas Pussycat Dolls at the Pussycat Dolls Lounge inside Caesars Palace.
Hilton’s 27th birthday bash will move into Pure nightclub following the performance.
Hopefully Hilton’s performance with the Pussycat Dolls will be better received than her new movie, “The Hottie & The Nottie,” which failed miserably at the box office last weekend.
