Don’t Miss It

DAVID COPPERFIELD

This is one talented magician. He not only made Claudia Schiffer disappear, but also a major sex scandal involving female audience members. These days, Copperfield’s biggest problem is with fan blades. Pray for his newest assistant at 7:30 and 10 p.m. Monday through Feb. 18 at the MGM Grand’s Hollywood Theatre, 3799 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Tickets are $99.25; call 891-7777.

JOHN CAPARULO

Seinfeld’s at Caesars again, as you’ve probably heard. But here’s your chance to see comedy’s future, not its past, at one quarter the price. At 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday, this rising Midwestern yukster tickles the showroom at the South Point, 9777 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Tickets are $15-$25; call 797-8055.

GREAT WHITE

Great White returns to Vegas to heat things up — hopefully with music, not pyro. The hair flies at 8 p.m. Saturday in Club Madrid at Sunset Station, 1301 W. Sunset Road. Tickets are $17.50; call 547-5300.

SMOTHERS BROTHERS

Mom liked Dick better, but Tom wouldn’t have much of a show alone. The siblings rival at 8 p.m. today through Sunday in the Showroom at The Orleans, 4500 W. Tropicana Ave. Tickets are $38.50-$66; call 365-7075.

APOLLO 14

The members of this instrumental surf band formed in 1995, broke up in 1999, reunited in 2007 and probably are shocked silly to find that we know who they are. (Drummer Gerry “Turbo” Proctor also plays with Vegas punk legends the Vermin.) Blastoff is 11 p.m. today at the Double Down Saloon, 4640 Paradise Road. Admission is free; call 791-5775.
