Downtown Grand’s S+O expanding menu

The Downtown Grand’s S+O — formerly known as Stewart + Ogden, which is a nod not only to Nevada history but also to two of the streets that border the hotel — is expanding its menu to include Northern Chinese specialties, such as hand-pulled noodles and dim sum. The new menu takes effect July 21.

The expanded lunch and dinner menus also include such dishes as Hangover Oxtail Soup, burgers, sandwiches, entrees and desserts.

The 24/7 S+O also serves breakfast, with such dishes as cinnamon-roll waffles, bacon waffles, breakfast burritos and breakfast tacos, and fresh-squeezed juices including orange, grapefruit, watermelon and cucumber.

The expanded menu at S+O coincides with the closing of the hotel’s Red Mansion Chinese restaurant, which is being converted to a private-dining space. And this fall, a new restaurant will replace The Spread Deli in the hotel’s sports book.
