Eastside Cannery has ‘Swipe ‘n’ Win’; Silverton playing Kerplinko

The Eastside Cannery‘s “$450,000 Swipe ‘n’ Win” promotion offers several ways to win cash including three weekly drawings on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays as well as a swipe giveaway. There will be 11 electronic and five manual winners at the winners-must-be-present 6 p.m. drawings. Players receive one entry for every 250 points ($84 coin-in slots, $125 coin-in video poker) earned on their cards, plus entries can be earned at the tables. On Sundays through Wednesdays, C.A.N. Club members can swipe their cards to win free drawing entries or up to $20,000 cash.

Every Saturday night this month, one Silverton player will be given the opportunity to win up to $250,000 playing Kerplinko. Starting at 8 p.m., 10 names (who must be present) will be drawn. Nine of those will win a cash prize up to $1,000 and the remaining player will win between $6,000 and $250,000 playing Kerplinko. Discovery Club members receive one entry for every 50 points ($50 coin-in) earned on their cards.

Jerry’s Nugget More Club members can now redeem points for $10 or $25 shopping certificates good for King Ranch Market, Hahn’s Military Surplus, La Corona Furniture, Mundo Musical and Nevada Flowers.

On Wednesday evenings in April, Terrible’s will draw 30 names to receive $100-$10,000. Entries can be earned at the machines, one entry for every 250 points ($250 coin-in). Players earning 1,000 points this month receive a complimentary entry to casino pool parties on April 14 and 28.

The Gold Coast is running various point redemption promotions at the buffet all month. On Mondays, players earning 250 same-day points ($250-$500 coin-in) receive a free buffet as do seniors (50-plus) who earn 200 points on Wednesdays. On Thursdays, all players get a 50-percent point redemption discount (and those points can be earned at any time.) On Mondays in April at The Orleans, players earning 100 same-day points get a free breakfast buffet, those earning 200 points get lunch and players earning 300 points get a free dinner buffet. There is a limit of one free buffet per day.

El Loco Rollercoaster at Circus Circus' Adventuredome
The El Loco rollercoaster opened at the Circus Circus' Adventuredome in February 2014. It features a 90-foot ascent, followed by a drop that produces a negative 1.5 "verticle G," a 180-degree turn, and reverse 240-degree roll that turns into an inverted drop. The coaster reaches a maximum speed of 45 mph and is the only indoor coaster of it's kind in the U.S., and is the second indoor El Loco coaster in the world, according to MGM Resorts.
