Splendor in the Glass to benefit public television

The 24th annual Splendor in the Glass, a benefit for Southern Nevada Public Television, is set for 3 to 7 p.m. Feb. 9 at the LVH, 3000 Paradise Road. The wine- and beer-tasting event will include samples from more than 60 wineries and breweries, plus hors d’oeuvres, a live wine auction, silent auction and live music. Chef Hubert Keller will demonstrate one of his signature recipes and will donate 25 autographed copies of his “Souvenirs” book. Tickets are $75 in advance, $90 at the door; advance tickets are available online at VegasPBS.org or at Lee’s Discount Liquor, Total Wine & More and Whole Foods Market. …

“Ace of Cakes” star Duff Goldman, pastry chef Francois Payard and chefs Christina Wilson, Frank Pellegrino Jr. and Steve Martorano have been added to the faculty of Food University, scheduled for March 27-29 at Caesars Palace, 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. South.
