Beyoncé is riding high on her “Cowboy Carter Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour.” Her plans to ride the range in Las Vegas, however, are not specified.
Sources familiar with the recording superstar had reported she will play Allegiant Stadium on the U.S. series. But Monday, as speculation spread about that plan, Beyoncé posted dates of her first set of performances and left Las Vegas off.
Beyoncé’s official website lists April 28-May 1, May 4 and May 7 as the opening dates at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The May 7 date was added after the original dates were posted, which might indicate plans for Allegiant Stadium are off, with an extra SoFi show added.
Beyoncé played two shows at Allegiant Stadium in August 2023 on her “Renaissance World Tour.”
The 43-year-old entertainment icon forecast the tour on social media on Sunday, posting that she would be playing several major cities on the upcoming tour. She specified Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Paris, London, her hometown of Houston, Washington, Atlanta and Las Vegas.
Beyond SoFi, Beyoncé’s official website lists Soldier Field in Chicago; Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London; MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.; NRG Stadium in Houston; Northwest Stadium in Washington; and Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on July 11.
If she sidesteps Vegas on this tour, she still could opt to develop a residency at Sphere as soon as 2026. The 35-time Grammy winner had been in talks with Sphere officials last year, but the scheduling did not work out.
Beyoncé won the Grammy for Album of the Year for the first time also Country Album of the Year — producing an instant GIF with the nonplussed response — for “Cowboy Carter.”
