“Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition” at Luxor will present a series of events Monday through April 18 to observe the 98th anniversary of the Titanic’s sinking in the icy waters of the North Atlantic in 1912.
Visitors can take guided tours, attend a survivors’ party and high tea, sip specialty drinks and win prizes. Guests also can pay tribute to Titanic’s passengers by sharing condolences and laying flowers at the Memorial Wall where the names of all 2,228 passengers and crew are displayed.
Tickets are $27 general admission, $25 for seniors, $24 for Nevada residents and $20 for children. The exhibit is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
Anniversary events include:
Monday through April 15: Complimentary guided tours will be offered at 5 and 8 p.m. with paid admission.
Tuesday: T&T restaurant at Luxor will offer a complimentary drink or appetizer to Titanic Exhibition guests who show their boarding pass.
April 15: T&T will host a survivors’ party featuring specialty drinks and dining discounts to guests who show their boarding pass.
April 16: Visitors who receive John Jacob Astor’s and Madelyn Astor’s special boarding passes upon entrance will win a private tour, Titanic gift basket, complimentary dinner, complimentary entrance and drinks at Minus5 Ice Lounge and a VIP card for Luxor Nightlife.
April 18: Fusia at Luxor will have an afternoon high tea. Guests can try an assortment of teas, sandwiches and desserts from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $49, including entrance to the exhibition.
