Mercadito at Red Rock Resort, 11011 W. Charleston Blvd., plans to celebrate Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, with new dishes created for the holiday and a special libation.

BURLESQUE BRUNCH TO BE PART OF FESTIVAL AT GOLD COAST

The Las Vegas Burlesque Festival is scheduled for Nov. 6-9 at the Gold Coast, 4000 W. Flamingo Road. The festival, which is set to feature a kickoff cocktail party, parade of burlesque stars, nightly showcases and continuing education classes, is scheduled to conclude with a special brunch featuring mimosas, Bloody Marys and glitter-filled pancakes.

The City of Las Vegas has announced a new temporary permit program that will allow businesses with existing alcohol licenses and food service licenses to deliver meals with alcohol.
