Dee’s Donuts, 6401 N. Durango Drive, received 14 demerits Dec. 14. Violations included expired milk and cream. GRADE: B

El Herradero Bar, 3402 E. Lake Mead Blvd., received 20 demerits Dec. 18. Violations included employee food stored improperly. GRADE: B

Johnny Rockets, Silverton, 3333 Blue Diamond Road, received 13 demerits Dec. 14. Violations included undated food items in walk-in cooler and cooler in cook’s area. GRADE: B

Kapampangan Sisig Restaurant & Buffet, 1436 E. Charleston Blvd., received 19 demerits Dec. 13. Violations included food not cooled by approved methods. GRADE: B

Lucky’s Gaming and Spirits, 1729 E. Charleston Blvd., received 16 demerits Dec. 15. Violations included dirty ice machine and soda gun holder. GRADE: B

Maple Tree Countryside Kitchen, 6000 Spring Mountain Road, received 20 demerits Dec. 14. Violations included food held at improper temperatures. GRADE: B

Orange Julius/Dairy Queen, the Meadows mall, 4300 Meadows Lane, received 20 demerits Dec. 13. Violations included employee did not wash hands before putting on gloves. GRADE: B

Roberto’s Taco Shop, 1414 N. Eastern Ave., received 25 demerits Dec. 15. Violations included food not protected from potential contamination by employees and consumers. GRADE: C

Taste of Paradise Island Grill, 445 W. Craig Road, North Las Vegas, received 24 demerits Dec. 13. Violations included no hot water in facility. GRADE: Closed. The facility was reinspected Dec. 14, and was upgraded to an A.

Fiesta Filipina Cuisine, 2980 St. Rose Parkway, Henderson, received one demerit Dec. 14 and was upgraded to an A.

Half Shell Seafood & Gaming bar, 30 E. Horizon Ridge Parkway, Henderson, received seven demerits Dec. 16 and was upgraded to an A.

KFC, 6181 W. Lake Mead Blvd., received 10 demerits Dec. 13 and was upgraded to an A.

Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken, 3216 N. Civic Center Drive, North Las Vegas, received six demerits Dec. 16 and was upgraded to an A.

Lulu Hawaiian BBQ, 6512 N. Decatur Blvd., North Las Vegas, received seven demerits Dec. 16 and was upgraded to an A.

Bellagio, MGM Resorts International’s luxury hotel turns 20
The more than 3,000-room Bellagio hotel is situated on the site of the former Dunes Hotel. The Dunes was imploded in 1993, and construction of the Bellagio started in 1996. It cost $1.6 billion to build, making it the most expensive hotel in the world at the time. The Bellagio was former Wynn Resorts Ltd. Chairman and CEO Steve Wynn’s second major casino on the Strip after The Mirage. MGM Resorts International acquired the property from Steve Wynn in 2000. (Tara Mack/Las Vegas Review-Journal)
