The Dish: Oktoberfest breaking out all over town

Oktoberfest comes to Downtown 3rd Friday with a celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. at Triple George, 201 N. Third St. Food specials will include currywurst with garlic and parsley fries, knockwurst, pulled pork over peppercorn spaetzel and braised cabbage, Wienerschnitzel, soft pretzels and drunken sausage, priced at $5 to $15. Drink specials of German beer flights, $6, and $6 Warsteiner Oktoberfest pints and bottles will continue through the end of the month. …

An “Octoberfeast” beer-pairing dinner will start at 6 p.m. Sunday at Distill at 10820 W. Charleston Blvd. The four-course dinner with an entree of pork schnitzel or beer-battered cod is $55. Call 702-534-1400. …
