Tapas by Alex Stratta in Tivoli Village, 440 S. Rampart Blvd., is collaborating with Tenaya Creek Brewery on a craft beer-pairing dinner from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday. The dinner will begin with passed canapes and move on to Spanish olive oil with sobrassada, piquillo and saffron aioli, bacon- and sage-wrapped dates and roasted chicken croquettes, grilled curry lamb with roasted pepper relish and confit marble potatoes, red-wine-braised beef cheeks with charred padron peppers and almond puree, chocolate and almond mousse cake with cajeta, and finally, Catalonian and Basque Country cheeses. And Big Dog’s Brewing Co. is doing a “tap takeover” at Flour & Barley Brick Oven Pizza at The Linq through Wednesday. Six craft beers are being matched with pizzas, appetizers and entrees, and Big Dog’s brewers are at Flour & Barley nightly to discuss the beers and the stories behind them. The Linq is at 3535 Las Vegas Blvd. South.
