Where to dine out in Las Vegas for Valentine’s Day

As the poet says, a loaf of bread, a jug of wine and thou beside me — the line is certainly romantic. But in Las Vegas on Valentine’s Day, bread, wine and a warm fuzzy aren’t going to cut it.

Accordingly, we’re sharing some of the cocktails, specials and prix fixe menus that Vegas bars and restaurants are offering to celebrate Big Love. Unless otherwise noted, offerings are for Feb. 14 only. Reservations well in advance are typically required.

Off the Strip

Ada’s Food + Wine, 410 S. Rampart Blvd., Suite 120, in Tivoli Village, is featuring a four-course menu with wine pairings, for $125, from 5 to 9 p.m., and an eight-course chef’s counter tasting menu with wine pairings, for $250, from 5 to 9 p.m. Seating for the chef’s counter menu is very limited.

Amari Italian Kitchen & Wine Shop, 6825 Tom Rodriguez St., in UnCommons, is serving its Italiano menu of antipasti (house focaccia and yellowtail crudo), ricotta gnudi with spinach, pan-seared scallop and braised beef cheek duo, and date torta with apple cider caramel, for $75, from 5 to 10 p.m.

Aroma Latin American Cocina, 2877 N. Green Valley Parkway, Henderson, is showcasing a three-course Latin American menu (Peruvian ceviche, carne guisada, strawberry tres leches), for $60, from 5 to 9 p.m. The restaurant is also offering half off on all wine bottles and two-for-one cocktails.

Barry’s Downtown Prime in Circa is offering a five-course menu of black truffle risotto, chilled seafood platter, caviar, surf and turf, and red velvet cheesecake, for $169, from 5 to 11 p.m.

Basilico Ristorante, 6111 S. Buffalo Drive, Suite 100, in Evora, is sending out a five-course menu with a trio of amuse-bouche, red beet salad, saffron risotto or foie gras guanciale bucatini, turbot or eye of ribeye, and strawberry cheesecake, for $79, wine pairings additional $45, from 4 to 9 p.m.

Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca in Green Valley Ranch is presenting saffron lobster arancini ($19), spaghetti frutti di mare ($49), a duo of roasted branzino and basil-crusted veal tenderloin ($79 for one person, $139 for two), and a chocolate heart filled with passion fruit and chocolate ($19), from 4 to 10 p.m.

Brio Italian Grille, 6653 Las Vegas Blvd. South, in Town Square, is serving a three-course menu with choice of chopped or Caesar salad; choice of pasta Brio, lobster and shrimp fettuccine, sausage rigatoni arrabbiata, grilled salmon or Gorgonzola-crusted beef medallions; and caramel mascarpone cheesecake, at $69.99 for two, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Ciao Vino Ristorante, 740 S. Rampart Blvd., in Boca Park, is featuring specials such as bigeye tuna crudo ($21), lobster ravioli ($37), kurobuta pork duo ($59), dark chocolate crémeux and a panna cotta ($12), and coffee tiramisù and gelato ($14), from 4 to 10 p.m.

Cornerstone at the Gold Coast is presenting a three-course menu with choice of house salad or lobster bisque, tenderloin medallions for two with cremini mushrooms, and mini crème brûlée with seasonal berries, at $135 for two, from 4 to 10 p.m.

Don Vito’s in the South Point is sending out a three-course menu with a choice of four first courses, including lobster ravioli; choice of three second courses, including rolled beef tenderloin; choice of three desserts, including white chocolate cheesecake, plus a bottle of the wine of the month for every two people, for $49, from 5 to 10 p.m. Feb. 13 to 15.

El Dorado Cantina, 430 S. Rampart Blvd., in Tivoli Village, and 3025 Sammy Davis Jr. Drive, is serving a surf and turf dinner for two with two 4-ounce filets, two lobster tails, mashed potatoes, asparagus and two glasses of sparkling wine, for $110 per couple, 24/7.

Edge Steakhouse in the Westgate is offering a three-course menu with choice of four first courses, a second course of 34-ounce tomahawk ribeye and king crab legs, and strawberry mousse for dessert, $125, from 5 to 10 p.m.

Emerald Island Grille in Emerald Island is featuring a three-course menu with choice of mixed baby greens or crab bisque; choice of Maine lobster française or aged ribeye, both with sides; and New York cheesecake with chocolate and strawberry sauces, for $36.99, from 4 to 10 p.m.

Ferraro’s Ristorante, 4480 Paradise Road, is showcasing a four-course menu (minimum of two orders) consisting of lump crab cake; lobster risotto and wild boar ravioli; choice of branzino, spaghetti with lobster tail, osso buco or 10-ounce filet mignon; and olive oil cake with fresh strawberries, for $145, with seatings from 4 to 10:30 p.m.

Gaetano’s Ristorante, 10271 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 111, Henderson, is serving an extensive menu of 30 dishes, plus wines, including lobster ravioli ($35), signature cioppino ($50), organic Jidori chicken piccata ($34), braised short ribs ($50) and 8-ounce filet mignon ($55), from 3 to 9 p.m.

The Golden Tiki, 3939 Spring Mountain Road, is pouring its Tidal Temptation, a cocktail for two made with rum, honey, butter, pomegranate, falernum and citrus, then served in a pineapple and set alight at the table, for $40.

Harlø Steakhouse & Bar, 1720 Festival Plaza Drive, Downtown Summerlin, is featuring a three-course menu with a half-dozen oysters, scallops and foie gras with winter citrus and an 18-ounce Angus ribeye, for $165, from 3:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas, 4510 Paradise Road, is offering specials such as tomato cream soup ($9.50); fried brie with salad bouquet ($19.50); a shrimp provençale, grilled chicken and beef tenderloin tower ($45); Nutella crêpes with vanilla ice cream ($14); and a vodka, Chambord and lemonade cocktail in a 15-ounce glass ($16), from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Honey Salt, 1031 S. Rampart Blvd., is presenting a prosecco-Chambord toast, followed by a four-course menu of baked brie, choice of prosciutto salad or dayboat scallops gratin, choice of seared halibut or peppercorn-crusted steak, and chocolate soufflé cheesecake with chocolate-covered strawberries, for $95, from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Lawry’s The Prime Rib, 4043 Howard Hughes Parkway, is offering a 4-ounce cold water lobster tail and 8-ounce filet mignon surf and turf ($83), an upgrade to a 14-ounce New York strip ($92), an upgrade to a 10-ounce warm water lobster tail ($30), and baked Alaska for two ($25), from Feb. 13 to 16. Call for hours of service.

La Madre Canyon Grill, 4195 S. Grand Canyon Drive, Suite 101, is presenting a three-course menu with choice of Caesar salad, roasted beet salad or soup du jour; choice of grilled salmon or surf and turf; and dark chocolate mousse cake, plus complimentary bubbles, for $70, from 4 to 9 p.m.

Más Por Favor Taqueria y Tequila, 3879 Spring Mountain Road, is pouring a Sweet Seduction (vanilla vodka, half and half, Ghirardelli white chocolate syrup) for $18, an Old-Fashioned Romance (bourbon, rose syrup, chocolate bitters) for $16, or a couple’s special of both cocktails for $29, from 7 p.m. to late.

Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant in Durango is featuring a whole butter-poached lobster with grilled street corn risotto, lobster cream sauce and salsa verde, for $65, from 4 p.m.

Mrkt Sea + Land in Aliante Casino is offering a three-course menu with choice of seared jumbo diver scallop with Osetra caviar or grilled jumbo shrimp with wild mushrooms, a filet mignon and butter-poached lobster tail, and choice of raspberry white chocolate cheesecake tart or warm double chocolate cake, for $95, from 3 to 10 p.m.

La Neta Cocina y Lounge, 1770 Festival Plaza Drive, Suite 200, Downtown Summerlin, is sending out a three-course menu of ahi tostada to share, choice of halibut Veracruz or New York steak and potato, and red velvet cupcakes, for $75, with seatings at 5 and 9 p.m. Feb. 13 to 15.

One Steakhouse in Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is serving oysters Rockefeller ($36), an 8-ounce filet with seared foie gras ($82), and a One Love Cocktail with rum, Amaro Montenegro and lime ($17), from 5 p.m.

Oscar’s in the Plaza is showcasing a three-course menu of potato leek soup topped with Osetra caviar, Australian lobster and wagyu filet surf and turf with sides, and a chocolate mousse bombe, for $150, from 5 p.m.

Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant, 11020 Lavender Hill Drive, Downtown Summerlin, is featuring a menu for two consisting of guacamole with corn tostaditos, pollo asado and carne asada tacos, churros filled with cajeta caramel sauce and a margarita for each person, for $117, from 11 a.m.

Pin Kaow Thai Restaurant, 9530 S. Eastern Ave., Henderson, is pouring a Pink Cow with vodka, elderflower liqueur, lychee juice, Thai red syrup, lemon and soda ($12) and a Prickly Pairs Margarita pairing blanco tequila with prickly pear cactus ($12), from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Sammy’s Restaurant & Bar, 6500 W. Sahara Ave., is featuring a menu for two with Caesar or Greek salad, choice of any two entrées, churros or messy sundae, and two glasses of house wine, $125 for two, through Feb. 28.

Scotch 80 in the Palms is offering a Love Potion No. 80 cocktail with tequila, Grand Marnier and rosé Champagne ($19); tiger prawn scampi ($65); 35-day-aged ribeye with bourbon glaze ($75); Chateaubriand for two ($125, two lobster tails additional $60); and strawberry pavlova ($15), from 5 to 10 p.m.

Siegel’s 1941 in El Cortez is sending out a three-course menu (pear salad or lump crab cake, a bone-in ribeye and lobster tail, dessert sampler), for $95, wine pairings additional $35, from 4 to 10 p.m. Feb. 14 and 15.

Silverado Steakhouse in the South Point is serving a four-course menu with choice of three first courses, including blackened sea scallops; choice of romaine and hearts of palm salad or cream of asparagus soup; choice of four third courses, including Steak Diane; and choice of three desserts, including peach Melba, plus a bottle of the wine of the month for every two people, for $66, from 5 to 10 p.m. Feb. 13 to 15.

Sourdough Café in Arizona Charlie’s Boulder is sending out a prix fixe menu of choice of soup or salad, mango mahi mahi with saffron risotto and strawberry shortcake, for $21, from 6 a.m. to midnight. Sourdough Café in Arizona Charlie’s Decatur is sending out the same menu with the same price 24 hours daily.

The Stove, 11261 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 200, Henderson, is featuring a free Love Potion for ladies 21 and older with reservation. The restaurant is also featuring cocktails such as The Stove Colada ($16), Violette Love Potion ($16) and Cupid’s Garden ($18), plus French Kiss French toast ($22) and a house meatball sandwich ($19), from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

La Strega, 3555 S. Town Center Drive, Suite 105, is showcasing Kaluga caviar service with gnocco fritto ($125), black truffle risotto with mushrooms and mascarpone ($75), king crab fonduta (market price), a 5-pound beef shank with cherry jus ($125) and berry cake with Chantilly cream ($15), from 5 to 9 p.m.

Triple Crown Cigar Lounge, 6539 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Suite 114, in Town Square, is pouring a Smokin’ Hot Spicy Amber margarita made with blanco tequila, Ancho Reyes Verde chile liqueur, mango purée, Tajín and lime, for $17, from noon to 1 a.m.

Triple George Grill in the Downtown Grand is featuring a four-course menu of seafood trio, roasted pepper tomato bisque, surf and turf, and berry mille-feuille, for $125, from 4 p.m. Feb. 14 to 16.

Twin Creeks Steakhouse in the Silverton is offering braised short rib meatball ($15), shrimp and saffron risotto ($45), almond frangipane tart ($12), or all three for $65, plus a Kir Royale ($13), from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Vetri Cucina in the Palms is presenting a duo tasting menu of fried artichokes and ribeye carpaccio antipasti, carrot raviolo and linguine frutti di mare, Dover sole and veal shank osso buco, and chocolate praline tart with salted caramel gelato, for $195, wine pairings additional $95, from 5 to 10 p.m.

Vic’s Las Vegas, 355 Promenade Place, in Symphony Park, is serving its signature cioppino for $49, from 4 to 10 p.m., with jazz vocalist Michelle Johnson performing sets at 7 and 8:30 p.m.

William B’s Steakhouse at the Suncoast is showcasing a three-course menu with choice of roasted red pepper bisque or butter lettuce and pear salad, choice of petit filet mignon and Maine lobster Thermidor or miso black cod with braised bok choy, a warm chocolate mousse cake, and two flutes of Ste. Michelle brut bubbles, at $190 for two, from 4 to 9 p.m.

On the Strip

Balla Italian Soul in Sahara Las Vegas is presenting a special menu of antipasti, house pastas (including shrimp and ’nduja bucatini), and main courses (including wood-fired rainbow trout), for $95, wine pairings additional $45, from 5 to 10 p.m.

Bardot Brasserie in Aria is sending out a four-course menu consisting of a bay scallops amuse-bouche; oysters, crab and endive, artichoke ravioli and steak tartare, all for the table; choice of risotto, flounder and pearls, rack of lamb Chateaubriand or 36-ounce Prime Angus porterhouse for two; and warm pistachio pithivier pie for the table, for $114, call for hours of service.

Bazaar Meat by José Andrés in Sahara Las Vegas is sending out a tasting menu of about a dozen dishes, including cotton candy foie gras, classic tartare, croquetas de pollo, A5 snow wagyu and dark chocolate raspberry tart, for $250, from 5 to 9:30 p.m.

Bourbon Steak in the Four Seasons is featuring a special menu with a caviar “Twinkie” amuse-bouche, followed by five courses, each with multiple dishes, including black truffle agnolotti with black truffle bread and wagyu rib cap with chicken Espelette and bacon-wrapped scallops, for $275, wine pairings additional $150, from 5 to 10 p.m.

Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse in the Flamingo is offering a three-course menu with a West Coast oyster amuse-bouche, choice of lobster bisque or heirloom tomato salad, choice of Chilean sea bass or dry-aged 20-ounce ribeye, and choice of strawberry upside down cheesecake or chocolate cigar cake, for $250 per couple, from 4 p.m.

La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway in Wynn Las Vegas is featuring bucatini with roasted garlic, chili and Parmigiano ($22), Dover sole with heirloom cauliflower, capers and grapes ($32), and a Roses are Red cocktail with grapefruit rose vodka ($19), from 4 p.m.

Caramella in Planet Hollywood is featuring a three-course menu with choice of five first courses, including calamari fritti; choice of four main courses, including Chilean sea bass piccata; choice of three sides, including four-cheese mashed potatoes; and signature Caramella tart or New York-style cheesecake, for $299 per couple, from 4 to 10 p.m.

Chica in The Venetian is showcasing specials such as Black Opal wagyu with crisp purple potato ($28), oysters with blood orange espuma ($32), seared diver scallops ($38), pan-roasted Pacific halibut ($62), petit wagyu filet ($95) and strawberry brownie cheesecake ($18), from 4 p.m. to midnight.

Clique Bar & Lounge in The Cosmopolitan is presenting a Lovebirds’ Rosé cocktail with pear liqueur, rosé Champagne and lemonade ($30); a Cupid’s Mischief with rum, Aperol, ginger honey syrup and lime ($21); a Lemon Love Spritz with pear liqueur, prosecco, soda and lemon ($21); and minis of Champagne Telmont brut ($100) and rosé ($125).

Crush American Grill in the MGM Grand is offering horseradish-crusted rack of lamb with mushroom farro and broccolini ($49), charred octopus with smoked paprika aïoli and fingerlings ($23), and a Kiss & Tell cocktail with gin, prosecco and lemongrass ($21). From 4:30 p.m.

Diner Ross in The Linq is presenting a Bubble Wonderland package with bottomless prosecco pre-show, two specialty appetizers and a ticket to “DiscoShow,” for $149, with Diner Ross doors open at 5 p.m. and showtimes at 7 or 9:30 p.m. Feb. 13 and 14.

Don’s Prime in the Fontainebleau is serving a three-course menu, with sides, consisting of choice of yellowtail tartare or grilled shrimp, choice to share of 18-ounce Chateaubriand or surf and turf, choice of truffle whipped potatoes or roasted Brussels sprouts sides, and chiffon cake with red berry gelée, for $185, wine pairings $90 additional, from 5 to 10 p.m.

Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House in the MGM Grand is showcasing chocolate-covered strawberries ($5 each), cornmeal fried oysters ($15), baked whole Maine lobster (market price), red velvet tres leches cake ($14), from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 9:30 p.m.

Emmitt’s Las Vegas in Fashion Show mall is sending out seared halibut with sautéed asparagus and caviar beurre blanc ($60) and a whole butter-poached lobster for two with two petits filets ($175), both with choice of red velvet cake or petits fours, from 4 to 11 p.m.

Giada in The Cromwell is serving a four-course menu with choice of white tuna crudo, kusshi oyster or bacon-wrapped date; choice of rose ravioli, lemon spaghetti or veal agnolotti; choice of 8-ounce filet, seared halibut, braised short rib or roast chicken cacciatore; and choice of tiramisù or strawberry amore, for $125, from 4:30 p.m. for dinner.

Momofuku in The Cosmopolitan is presenting a four-course menu featuring choice of kanpachi crudo with chili jam or bigeye tuna with shaved foie gras, choice of fried chicken and caviar or ramen topped with black truffle, choice of candied walnut lobster and shrimp or grilled Ibérico pork with rice and kimchi; and choice of cherry chocolate ice cream pop or leche flan with strawberry shortbread. Each course includes a sake pairing. For $175, from 5 to 11 p.m.

Mother Wolf in the Fontainebleau is showcasing specials such as tuna tartare with Petrossian caviar ($34), three roasted oysters ($21), cacio e pepe with black truffles ($52), Meyer lemon linguine with Petrossian caviar ($52), risotto with whole Maine lobster ($95), and Dover sole with brown butter ($138), from 4 to 10:30 p.m.

Ocean Prime in 63 CityCenter is featuring Chilean sea bass with butter-poached lobster and lobster demi-glace ($76) and Iconoclast chardonnay ($60 a bottle, $23 for 9 ounces, $15 for 6 ounces), from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Feb. 14, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Feb. 15 and noon to 8 p.m. Feb. 16.

Phil’s Steak House in Treasure Island is presenting a three-course menu with choice of a half-dozen oysters or crostini with strawberry bruschetta, choice of seared scallop with wild mushroom risotto or 16-ounce ribeye with wagyu tallow potatoes, and a plate of assorted chocolate truffles, for $190, from 5 to 10 p.m.

Rivea in Mandalay Bay is offering a shellfish platter ($160), Hudson Bay scallop with Osetra caviar ($45), herb-crusted rack of lamb ($70) and strawberry bouquet ($18), from 5:30 p.m.

Sushi Roku in the Forum Shops at Caesars is showcasing a five-course menu of Brussels sprouts chips, tuna tartare and hamachi serrano; a seafood platter; ribeye japonaise; nigiri and a tuna jalapeño roll; and strawberry crème brûlée, for $196 per couple, from noon to 10:30 p.m.

Tao Asian Bistro & Nightclub in The Venetian is featuring specials such as a Heart Roll with tuna and smoked salmon ($28), lobster surf and turf with stir-fried vegetables ($108), and a raspberry opera cake ($19), from 5 p.m.

Toscana Ristorante in Eataly at Park MGM is showcasing a five-course menu featuring black truffle arancini, choice of yellowtail tartare or beef carpaccio, choice of pappardelle with veal ragù or lobster ravioli, choice of grilled filet mignon with Barolo sauce or Alaskan halibut fillet, and strawberry mousse, for $150, with wine pairings additional $49, from 5 to 10 p.m. Feb. 12 to 15.

Top of the World in The Strat is presenting seared diver scallops with roasted beet hummus ($25); ravioli with spinach, ricotta, shrimp, scallops and lobster ($60); a “fondue” of chocolate mousse, orange pound cake and strawberries ($17); Taittinger Brut Rosé ($25 per flute); and Dom Pérignon Brut ($90 per flute). From 4 p.m, Feb. 14 to 16.

Wakuda in the Palazzo Tower of The Venetian is offering an eight-course menu, including shellfish teaser, bouquet of tempura and Japanese A5 wagyu, for $225, from 5 to 11 p.m.
