Get ready for even more ‘Arrested Development’

Being an “Arrested Development” fan means that you are familiar with the roller-coaster of emotions a television show can make you feel. Well, rise up once again, because it might be coming back … again.

“It’s just a matter of when,” said Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos, telling USA Today that sorting out actors’ schedules is a concern, but he was positive that another season will be released by the streaming service.

Early fans of the ex-Fox network series were first greeted with the cliche executive decision situation, resulting in the series’ cancellation after three seasons.

In the time between 2006 and 2012, the show became a cult hit and remains one of the highest-rated television series on IMDB. Rumors circulated a film, a new Fox contract and multiple other network contracts before Netflix got involved.

The fourth season started strong by Netflix standards. It was one of the most anticipated television events of 2013, and one of the most watched in Netflix history.

The final fan reaction was … mixed, to say the least.

Fans were split between feeling happy that they were given closure and feeling upset that Netfix execs took a new approach to how the show works.

Whether or not they paid attention to those reactions remains to be seen, and if Sarandos truly is positive, it’ll be seen in the near future.
