Locals only: Las Vegas Elvis Fest kicks off on Thursday

Elvis Fest brings Presley events

Are you lonesome tonight?

If so, get your Elvis-lovin’ self over to Westgate Las Vegas, formerly the LVH, formerly the Las Vegas Hilton, formerly The International, where The King held court during the 1970s.

On Thursday, Las Vegas Elvis Fest kicks off a four-day weekend of Presley-centric events, highlighted by the four-round Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist contest.

Other events and activities include celebrity forums, backstage tours, collectibles and memorabilia sales and a farewell “Blue Hawaii” party.

The weekend also will feature several concerts, including a Saturday night show with Shawn Klush, the first Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist, celebrating Elvis’ Las Vegas performances along with the Stamps Quartet, the Sweet Inspirations and Sammy Shore.

For tickets and complete schedule, see www.lasvegaselvisfestival.com or call 888-406-5885.
