Man in wheelchair crowdsurfs Kanye West concert

Following the accusation of berating a disabled fan for not standing up to dance during a concert last week, Kanye West had a man in a wheelchair crowd-surf during his performance at AAHH! Festival in Chicago.

In a photo tweeted by user @lxscope, a man can be seen in the bottom right-hand corner of the photo wearing a number 54 jersey.

The man was held up by other fans, but it is unknown if West acknowledged him.

Last week, video surfaced of a concert in Melbourne alleging West offended disabled fans. He reportedly tells the crowd to stand up and dance, “unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s—t,” according the Daily Mail.

The audience member waved a prosthetic limb in the air and West moved on.

In what outlets characterized as a “rant” caught on video at a concert a few days later in Sydney, Australia, West responded to critisizm, saying, “What I want you to do is I want you to run the video everyone’s talking about where I so-called screamed at somebody and everything,” he said, “People who’ve never heard my albums—to somehow read a headline that reads negative, and think that I’m a bad person or something. I’m not judging, I’m just going to tell you who I am. I’m a married, Christian man.”
