“Cosmopolis” (R): Despite being locked away in the safety of his tricked-out limo, a billionaire asset manager’s (Robert Pattinson) cross-town trip for a haircut turns into a wild odyssey in this drama from director David Cronenberg.

Topping today’s TV transfers: “Being Human: The Complete Second Season.”

“The Wrath of Angels” by John Connolly: The discovery of a crashed plane pulls private detective Charlie Parker into a dangerous race to find a valuable list – which some wish to keep secret – as it contains the names of those who have made a deal with the devil.

In young adult fiction, the mystery behind the Pretty Little Liars and how Alison DiLaurentis was murdered is revealed in “Ali’s Pretty Little Lies” by Sara Shepard.

Also hitting shelves: “Empire and Honor” by W.E.B. Griffin; “Great North Road” by Peter F. Hamilton; “The Icarus Deception” by Seth Godin; “The Lost Heir” by Tui T. Sutherland; “Mastermind: How to Think Like Sherlock Holmes” by Maria Konnikova; “Shadow Woman” by Linda Howard; and “The World Until Yesterday” by Jared Diamond.

‘Joker’ tops box office again, beats ‘Addams Family’
