B.B. King, Lucille hitting Green Valley Ranch

B.B. King doesn't get around much on a stage anymore -- he pretty much sits there -- but the blues icon who turns 86 next month still travels the country to share equally wicked guitar licks and stories about his career.

The longtime Las Vegan last year christened the financially troubled B.B. King's Blues Club at The Mirage. And you can hear him on the new Steve Cropper album, "Dedicated." But Saturday, you can see King and his guitar Lucille in person inside the big ballroom at Green Valley Ranch Resort, 2300 Paseo Verde Parkway. Tickets are $34-$72.50; call 547-5300.
