Celebrate ska with the Toasters

So, if 25 years is the silver anniversary, how do you commemorate three decades together? Well, in the case of NYC ska veterans the Toasters, how about something plaid? Ugly, but appropriate, no?

Currently celebrating their 30th year together, in various incarnations, the Toasters pretty much kicked off ska's third wave with their punky 2-Tone charge, which is akin to mainlining adrenaline at times.

Seriously, these dudes have been around longer than some of the fans who will be checking them out at 10 p.m. today at The Bunkhouse, 124 S. 11th St. Tickets are $12; call 384-4536.
