Comedy festival coming to Mandalay Bay

“The Funny or Die Oddball Comedy Festival,” featuring Dave Chapelle, Flight of the Concords and others, takes over the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Sept. 21. Tickets are $55, $95 and $135 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster outlets.

“Rock n’ Roll Wine’s 8th Annual Wine Amplified Festival,” featuring Gavin DeGraw, enlivens Mandalay Bay Beach on Sept. 7. Tickets are $65 and go on sale at noon Friday at Ticketmaster outlets.

Rock cut-ups The Dan Band bring the laughs at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay on Aug. 24. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 day of show and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the House of Blues box office, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. South, and Ticketmaster outlets.

Argentinian rockers Enanitos Verdes drop by the House of Blues on Aug. 30. Tickets are $43 in advance, $50 day of show and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the venue box office and Ticketmaster outlets.

The reggae-influenced Michael Franti & Spearhead light up the House of Blues on Oct. 18. Tickets are $30 in advance, $33 day of show and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the venue box office and Ticketmaster outlets.

Latin music favorites Los Horoscopos hit the Mandalay Bay Beach on Sept. 14. Tickets are $32.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster outlets.

Eccentric hip-hopper Tech N9ne headlines Hard Rock Live on Sept. 19. Tickets are $34 in advance, $39 day of show and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Hard Rock Live box office, 3771 Las Vegas Blvd. South, and www.ticketweb.com.

Rapper Dizzy Wright comes to Hard Rock Live on Nov. 1, with Emilio Rojas and Marcus Moody. Tickets are $16 in advance, $20 day of show and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the venue box office and www.ticketweb.com.

Jazz fusion troupe Spyro Gyra visit Chrome Showroom at Santa Fe Station on Nov. 2. Tickets are $29, $39 and $49 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Santa Fe Station Boarding Pass Rewards Center, 4949 N. Rancho Drive, and Ticketmaster outlets.
