Saddle up with George Strait

Tradition is as much a staple of George Strait's act as his Resistol lid.

Makes sense, then, that he comes to Las Vegas every Super Bowl weekend, like clockwork.

Strait's a creature of habit, and that habit mostly includes penning No. 1 hits (he has 59 of them).

His success is posited on his ability to deliver something that's familiar and fresh at once, polishing a timeworn honky-tonk swing to a bright sheen with slick production values and cosmopolitan country flourishes that fans eat up.

It's a sound as venerable as Strait's Wranglers.
