Vince Neil fumbles the national anthem at Outlaws opening — VIDEO

The Las Vegas Outlaws kicked off their inaugural season at the Thomas & Mack Center Monday, with a special treat from team owner and former Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil.

Before the game’s start, Neil was supposed to sing the national anthem, but someone forgot to get him a microphone. As soon as he’s handed one, he begins the butchered version after screaming, “Here we go!”

In the video posted by SportsLeaks, the caption says of their Vince Neil singing choice, “I’ve got to believe that they’ll look back on that decision and wish that they could take it back.”

You can even see the cheerleaders trying not to wince.

After the song was over, Neil encouraged the crowd with an expletive as if he was still with Crue.

Oh, and the Outlaws lost against the San Jose Sabercats, 59-41. The team’s next game is Saturday against the Arizona Rattlers.
