Orleans offers club members a final chance to ‘Take It or Trade It’

March isn't over yet, and there are still a few casino promotions worth checking out.

The final Orleans "Take It or Trade It" drawing will take place at 6 p.m. Sunday. Ten names will be drawing who can accept either $600 or take a chance at winning $2,500.

At 9 p.m. Monday, Ellis Island will draw for a 54-inch plasma TV. Players receive a ticket for every 1,000 points ($1,000 coin-in) earned over the month and must be present at the drawing to win.

Also on Monday, the Eastside Cannery is giving away a sweatshirt or a mother-daughter necklace to all players earning 150 same-day points ($150 coin-in on slots, $300 coin-in on video poker; no point redemption required).

All Station/Fiesta Senior 50 Plus entries earned in March are eligible for the Wednesday grand prize drawing. At 5 p.m., all 10 casinos will give away cash or free-play prizes (you must be present to win), plus one grand prize winner will receive a French wine country cruise for two (or $5,000 cash or $5,000 free play). Not over 50 yet? You can still get a 50-percent discount this Saturday at any Station/Fiesta buffet when you use your points.

The Rampart wants your e-mail address (assuming it doesn't already have it), and it only takes three trips to get your reward. Players giving the casino a new e-mail address will receive a $10 free slot play offer which will be sent via e-mail and then must be brought to the Players Club (on a subsequent trip) for redemption. The free play will then be loaded into the player's account the following Tuesday.

The Golden Gate is giving all new members earning 20 points (coin-in varies per machine; no point redemption required) $5 in free slot play and a T-shirt.

Looking ahead to next month, on Fridays and Saturdays, Jerry's Nugget will offer double payouts on all royal flushes hit on all quarter and dollar video poker machines (max coin-in; no wild cards). Also on Fridays and Saturdays in April, the casino will offer 10x points to all slot players.
