Poor Kirk Douglas. He’s not dead, yet. But People magazine published that the legendary actor was 6-feet-under anyway.
“Editors at the celeb mag had to scramble to remove an obituary from People.com Sunday after someone accidentally published that the 97-year-old “Spartacus” actor had died,” NY Daily News reports.
The article’s headline read “DO NOT PUB Kirk Douglas Dies.”
It’s a common practice for publications to pre-write obituaries.
Douglas will turn 98 on Dec. 9.
