Epicurean Affair scheduled for May 1

More than 100 local restaurants will participate in the 18th annual Epicurean Affair, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. May 1 at the Flamingo Las Vegas, 3555 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Tickets are $125 per person or $1,000 for a package of 10 through April 29, $150 per person after April 29 and $175 for VIP admission (at 6:30 p.m.). The event is co-sponsored by the Nevada Hotel & Lodging Association and the Nevada Restaurant Association. Free beer and barbecue is being offered on Tuesday — tax day — at the Freakin’ Frog, 4700 S. Maryland Parkway, beginning at noon. …

Bouchon at The Venetian, 3355 Las Vegas Blvd. South, is offering a new brunch item of chicken and waffles, which is roasted chicken with a bacon and chive waffle, maple syrup and sauce Chasseur. Brunch is served from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
