Sharon Corr goes solo for second album’s ‘The Same Sun’ tour

Sharon Corr isn’t a big name in these parts but she’s worked with at least one big star who will be working in town the same night.

When the violinist was part of her namesake brother-sister act The Corrs, the band opened some of the dates on Celine Dion’s “Falling Into You Around the World Tour” in 1996.

Now working apart from brother Jim and sisters Andrea and Caroline, the 43-year-old Irish singer-songwriter — she penned the band’s hits “Radio” and “So Young” — is touring behind her second solo album, “The Same Sun.”
