Strip Tips: Ri Ra hosting Halloween party

Dress up in your favorite pink Halloween costume and head over to Ri Ra at Mandalay Place to help raise money for breast cancer awareness. The pub is hosting the "Pink Halloween Party" on Saturday featuring a special on the Pink Jameson Rose cocktail. All day, the drink will sell for $8. Guests can purchase pink boas for $10 to show support for the fight against breast cancer. Angel Porrino, Chaeza Figueroa and other "Peepshow" cast members will kick the party off at 5:45 p.m. with a Champagne pour and a toast. Prizes will be given to those deemed to be wearing the best costumes. The festivities are scheduled to last until 1:30 a.m.

Suit drive

Help women return to work by donating new and gently used suits now through Nov. 1. Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort is holding a business suit drive to benefit organizations with back-to-work programs for women, including HopeLink, Safe Nest, The Shade Tree and others. Drop off your donations of women's business suits and other professional attire at the customer service desk operated by Tickets & Tours in Miracle Mile. In return, you will receive a Miracle Mile "Shop. Dine. Save." coupon book valued at $2,000. The drive is in conjunction with the United Way of Southern Nevada's Women's Leadership Council's fifth annual Fall Suit Drive. For information, call 866-0703.

Celebrate PBR

MGM Grand is offering a few ways to celebrate the 2012 Professional Bull Riders World Finals. Today, Brazilian bull riders, including Adriano Moraes, Silvano Alves, Renato Nunes, Guilherme Marchi, Valdiron de Oliveira and others, will meet and greet fans in the hotel's lobby from 2 to 3 p.m. They will also sign autographs. Centrifuge Bar has been rebranded as the "8 Second Lounge" through Sunday, when PBR ends. Nightly drink specials and live entertainment will be offered. Tonight, the lounge will host a mechanical bull riding contest judged by top PBR riders. The person who holds on for eight seconds and is judged to have the best ride will receive $1,000.
