Sons of Norway sponsoring Scandanavian lutefisk dinner

Lutefisk will be on the menu at a dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 6 at the Elks Lodge at 1217 Nevada Highway in Boulder City. The dinner, sponsored by the Sons of Norway Desert Troll Lodge, also will include Scandinavian meatballs, pork roast, lefse and Norwegian cookies, and aquavit will be available at the bar. Bellagio, MGM Resorts International’s luxury hotel turns 20
The more than 3,000-room Bellagio hotel is situated on the site of the former Dunes Hotel. The Dunes was imploded in 1993, and construction of the Bellagio started in 1996. It cost $1.6 billion to build, making it the most expensive hotel in the world at the time. The Bellagio was former Wynn Resorts Ltd.
