Studio 54 hosting wine, music event

Want a little fun, a little wine and some good music?

You can get a taste of all three tonight at the Rock 'n Roll Wine Amplified! event at Studio 54 inside the MGM Grand.

Rock 'n Roll Wine -- a wine events, marketing and promotions company that produces monthly events -- will feature an acoustic performance from singer Pat Monahan of the Grammy-winning group Train. Musician Jeremy Cornwell will be the opening act.

Doors open at 7 p.m. for the event that will spotlight more than 20 wineries.

Tickets for the show ($45 plus tax) are on sale now. The ticket price includes the concert, wine tasting and a $10 voucher redeemable at local retailers for many of the featured wines. You can purchase tickets by calling 240-3066 or logging on at www.rocknrollwine.com. Those looking to attend the party must be at least 21 years old.

MTV reality star hosts at LAX -- The boys of the MTV reality show "The Hills" return to Las Vegas this weekend as Brody Jenner and partner-in-crime Frankie Delgado host tonight's festivities at LAX inside the Luxor.

Jenner and Delgado have become staples on the city's nightlife scene, making numerous visits to LAX and sister club Pure inside Caesars Palace. In fact, the pair will host Saturday at Pure, with DJ Vice on the turntables.

PollyEsthers featuring nightly drink specials -- There aren't many places in the city, particularly on the nightclub circuit, that offer an "all-you-can-drink" special once a week, let alone every night.

Well, PollyEsthers has changed all that with a $40 all-you-can-drink deal. Located inside the Stratosphere, the deal -- which includes all well, long necks, call, house champagne and wine -- is available every night of operation.

Doors open at 10 p.m.

Crazy Horse ladies to hit Pure -- Fresh off an appearance at LAX last week, the girls of the popular Vegas show "MGM Grand's Crazy Horse Paris" return to host tonight's event at Pure.

Sightings of the weekend -- At CatHouse (Luxor) on Saturday: UFC fighter Randy Couture, illusionist Steve Wyrick and "Dancing with the Stars" professional Kym Johnson. Wyrick also was spotted at LAX.

At LAX on Saturday: singer Ashlee Simpson and boyfriend Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, rapper Coolio, illusionist Criss Angel and Luxor headliner Carrot Top.

Singer Ryan Cabrera, checked out The Bank (Bellagio) on Saturday for the second consecutive evening.

Rappers Too Short and Yung Berg were spotted Saturday at Poetry (Forum Shops at Caesars).

Former NFL standout Simeon Rice, checking out Pure on Saturday. Mike Tyson returned to Pure on Feb. 22.

Rapper Ja Rule made the nightclub rounds Feb. 22, giving impromptu performances at Poetry and Pure. He also was spotted at Body English (Hard Rock Hotel).

Actor Robert Iler of "The Sopranos" hosted the evening's festivities Feb. 22 at Privé (Planet Hollywood Resort). Also at Privé: Kansas City Chiefs fullback Boomer Grigsby.

Musician Matt Sorum of Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver checked out Body English on Feb. 22.
