Thiessen, Ashanti to host parties at Pure

It seems like it was just yesterday when young boys’ hearts went pitter-patter over actress Tiffani Thiessen when she starred as the lovable Kelly Kapowski on “Saved by the Bell.”

Well, Thiessen is all grown up now and probably will rekindle some of those old crushes tonight when she hosts her 34th birthday party at Pure nightclub at Caesars Palace.

Thiessen, who worked the majority of her career as Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, went on to take the role of devilish Valerie Malone on “Beverly Hills, 90210.”

Pure follows up with another big event Saturday as music star Ashanti hosts the monthly MySpace party. Doors open at 10 p.m. for both events.

Privé, CatHouse start weekly parties — Mondays just got a little bit hotter, with two of the city’s newest venues starting their weekly parties.

Privé kicked off its “Money for Nothing” industry night party at the Planet Hollywood Resort this week, with music mogul Jermaine Dupri hosting the event. Sources inside Privé say the celebrity guests/performers will continue to be top of the line.

The CatHouse, located at the Luxor, celebrated its first “Madame Mondays” soiree this week, with DJ Jack E. from St. Tropez’s “Les Caves du Roy” spinning the sounds.

Jet bringing in The Crystal Method — House music lovers will be out in full force Monday when Jet welcomes The Crystal Method for a special DJ performance.

The event will be part of the weekly “3400” party at The Mirage venue. Resident DJs Faarsheed, Chris Garcia and Eddie McDonald also will be on the turntables. All locals receive free admission.

Sightings of the weekend — Music star Seal hosted the Palazzo’s after-concert party Saturday, highlighted by a special performance at Tao Las Vegas inside The Venetian.

At LAX (Luxor) on Saturday: Actors Shane West and Wilmer Valderrama, MTV reality star Kristin Cavallari, Grandmaster Flash and poker star David Williams. West and Cavallari also were spotted at Pure (Caesars Palace).

UFC fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson dropped by Pure on Saturday. Jackson also was spotted at Poetry (Forum Shops at Caesars).

Singer John Mayer hit Tryst inside Wynn Las Vegas on Saturday and checked out singer Trey Songz. He also caught Seal’s performance at Tao Las Vegas.

Poetry inside the Forum Shops at Caesars was filled with football players galore, including St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson, Miami Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter and Minnesota Vikings running back Chester Taylor.
