Three new CDs for your listening pleasure

Three recommended CDs that came out today:

Gallon Drunk, “The Exit Sign”: The blues goes black at the calloused, nicotine stained hands of these time hardened Brits, at once at their most psychedelic and sullen on “The Exit Sign.”

Dean Wareham, “Dean Wareham”: Wareham may as well be singing lullabies here, his voice is so soft, spry and radiant. Don’t think “Love Is Not A Roof Against the Rain” qualifies, though.

Gojira, “Les Enfants Sauvages Live”: Prepare for seeing these French prog metal bad asses on May 3 at the House of Blues with this savage, err “sauvage,” live set, which comes with an incredible 6o-page hardcover picture book. Wait, you can’t ever really prepare yourself for seeing these dudes live.
