Straight Vegas teen, gay best friend he asked to prom appear on ‘Ellen’

Last week, Jacob Lescenski, who’s straight, asked his gay best friend, Anthony Martinez, to the Desert Oasis High School prom.

Thursday, the Las Vegas teens were on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to talk about the experience, and they walked away with $10,000 each from Shutterfly to go toward their educations.

The two have become social media celebrities ever since Lescenski, who felt bad that Martinez didn’t have a date, asked him via a banner that read: “You’re hella gay, I’m hella str8. But you’re like my brother. So be my d8?”

“The Ellen DeGeneres Show” airs at 4 p.m. on KVVU-TV, Channel 5.
