Mountain Falls offers resort lifestyle

Instead of life telling you what to do, what if you got to choose what you wanted out of life, every single day? That’s the beauty of a destination resort lifestyle: When you live so close to all the activities you love, it doesn’t take a vacation or a trip out of town to enjoy them. The barrier to all those benefits, of course, is usually the high cost of real estate and the activities. At Mountain Falls, William Lyon Homes in Pahrump offers all that and more without the destination resort price tag.

“The first thing most people think when they hear ‘Las Vegas’ is, of course, casinos, gambling and entertainment,” said Kim Chitwood, director of marketing for William Lyon Homes. “That’s the initial draw for many, but it’s far from the only one. The desert Southwest is a vast and incredible space, and Las Vegas is only one of many compelling places to visit.

“We chose to place Mountain Falls here — just 40 minutes outside the city — precisely due to its proximity to so many recreational locations — including access to national parks, mountains, lakes, and rivers — even within a day trip to the Grand Canyon and Southern California beaches,” Chitwood said. “But what truly amazes visitors is when they discover this destination resort lifestyle — in a master-planned golf course community — can be theirs in homes that are priced from only the mid-$100,000s.”

At Mountain Falls, residents can combine the relaxed, slower pace and wide open spaces they’ve always wanted with all the excitement nearby Las Vegas has to offer. There’s no shortage of things to do, which includes the challenging 18-hole, par 72 course at Mountain Falls Golf Club. And when you add the dozens of available events and adventures nearby, or simply the chance to enjoy the great outdoors at leisure, it quickly becomes clear this is a lifestyle without equal.

Mountain Falls includes new-home communities built by award-winning William Lyon Homes — all consisting of only single-story homes, and all situated around Mountain Falls Golf Club, the anchor of the Mountain Falls master plan. They are Series I at Tramonto, Series I at Villa Serena, and Series II at Tivoli. Series I at Villa Serena includes four one-story floor plans from 1,514 to 2,102 square feet.

Priced from only $159,000, these homes include three bedrooms and two baths in distinct designs.

Buyers can choose from open or traditional plans to suit their personal preference, and that incorporate features such as light-filled foyers, covered patio, great rooms, kitchen with island and seating bar, nook, family room, and formal dining area.

The newly released Series I at Tramonto offers the dynamic floor plans found at Villa Serena, but with two oft-requested additions: larger premium homesites and third-bay garage options. Priced from $159,000 these new homes feature inviting living areas with spacious bedrooms and dramatic interiors.

Next is Series II at Tivoli, a collection of four single-story homes that are a step up in space and luxury with prices starting at $221,000. The homes at Tivoli offer up to four bedrooms, three baths and three-car garages, and floor plans are from 2,055 to 2,741 square feet.

Tree-lined avenues winding throughout the Mountain Falls golf course provide access to the communities within, which include miles of trails and dozens of neighborhood parks. This is also high-desert country, so surroundings are a bit cooler than those found in the Las Vegas Valley, and residents are also able to enjoy the full range of four seasons.

The Mountain Falls Golf Club is not only a favorite among locals and Nevada visitors but ranked No. 7 in the country in 2015 by Golf Advisor for the Top 20 Courses.

Included with The Club is a 22,000-square-foot golf and residents’ facility with lounge area and multipurpose room, cardio/weight room, two pools, spa and interactive water-play area. Golfers and visitors also enjoy dining at the remodeled grill room that overlooks the scenic lake and tenth tee.

At all Mountain Falls communities, buyers can select a variety of room options including master retreat, den, bay window, formal dining and fourth bedroom (available per plan).

William Lyon homes also include an exclusive three-year “Fit and Finish” warranty, featuring 30-day after move-in check-up, annual visits for the first three years, and 24/7 emergency on-call service.

To visit Mountain Falls, take Blue Diamond Road west approximately 45 minutes. Before reaching Pahrump, turn left on Manse Road. Then right on Hafen Ranch, and left on Lakeview. The on-site information center and model homes are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Mondays, when they are open from 1 to 6 p.m. For more information, call Deborah at 775-727-0429 or 775-751- 3278, or visit www.mountainfalls.com.
