William Lyon debuts Affinity in Summerlin

Affinity by William Lyon Homes in Summerlin Centre, just west of the 215 Beltway on West Charleston Boulevard, is now selling with models open. Affinity offers four distinct living arrangements, ranging from one-bedroom flats to town home-style, second-floor flats and single-family cluster duplexes. Designed to cater to those seeking a maintenance-free lifestyle, from millennials to empty-nesters, Affinity homes range from 874 to 2,492 square feet and are affordably priced from the mid-$200,000s in this gated neighborhood.

According to Kim Chitwood, director of marketing for William Lyon Homes, the response to Affinity is widespread, with interest ranging from first-time homebuyers to those who no longer want the maintenance and upkeep that goes with owning a single-family detached home.

“There is a real trend toward experiential living, which calls for smaller homes with reduced maintenance,” Chitwood said. “Affinity is the answer to growing demand for more urban-style living. Evoke at Affinity is a series of triplex homes that are both livable and logical in design. Three plans range from 1,252 to 1,925 square feet and offer from two to three bedrooms, two to 2 1/2 baths and an attached two-car garage. Floor plans offer the choice of an easily accessed first floor, single-level home with front courtyard; a two-bedroom design on the second floor (above parking) with private deck; or three-bedroom dual living areas above the garage bays, placing the master suite atop for ultimate privacy. Evoke is priced from the low $300,000s.

Savu at Affinity merges carriage-style and town home designs in three floor plans spanning from 1,734 to 2,402 square feet with two to three bedrooms, two to 2 1/2 baths and interior access via two-car garage. Designs per plan offer a selection of single or split-level living spaces with two plans originating at ground level and one fully situated above with a standard balcony. Where available, a private and inspiring third-floor bonus room with deck is included. Town home-style plans include a side yard and patio space just beyond communal living areas. Savu is priced from the high $300,000s.

And finally, Revo at Affinity is a collection of triple-level duplex designs that includes a third-floor loft and deck. Four floor plans ranging from 2,047 to 2,492 square feet offer optional room configurations with three to four bedrooms and two to 3 1/2 baths. Interiors are well-defined with effective and artistic use of layered space — from the main living areas with easy garage access up to sleeping quarters and loft above. Revo is priced from the low $400,000s.
