Friday is National Cheeseburger Day. Here are five ways to celebrate in Las Vegas:
Jalapeno Cheddar Popper Burger
Sports Grill, Santa Fe Station
Jalapeno poppers crown a quarter-pound charbroiled beef patty that’s piled with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, jack cheese and barbecue ranch, $6.
The Frenchie Burger
DB Brasserie, The Venetian
A 7-ounce Angus beef patty is topped with Morbier cheese, confit pork belly, arugula, tomato-onion compote and mustard and served on a black-pepper bun, $14 at lunch and brunch, $16 at dinner.
Shaka Doobie

Two grilled-cheese sandwiches form the “bun” for a half-pound patty topped with Swiss cheese, fried bologna, mustard and pickles, $16.
