AerialKids helps children fly and get fit at the same time — PHOTOS

When kids experience anti-gravity fitness for the first time, instructor Rebecca Perrick says, they like it, but some might be a little nervous. “But they step out of their comfort zone and try something new. It’s a lot of fun,” Perrick says. The class, Aerial Kids, is offered at Shine Alternative Fitness Studio in Las Vegas and incorporates the use of stretchy Harrison Hammocks.

“Some are excited to just lean into the hammock and get their feet off the ground; some like to flip around like a monkey,” Perrick says. “It’s a good workout, but it’s also a good way to relax. It’s a very well-balanced activity.”
