The Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services will have a free college preparation workshop from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Doolittle Community Center, 1950 N. Congregation Ner Tamid will host an educational event to spread information about the plight of women in Darfur and to raise money for solar cook stoves.
