Christene Houston will sign “A Heart So Broken” at 1 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble, 2191 N. Rainbow Blvd.

PJ Sheldon will sign “You’re Hired” at 11 a.m. Saturday at Green Valley Library, 2797 N. Green Valley Parkway, Henderson.

Arleen Alleman will sign “Current Assets” and “Currents of Vengeance” at 1 p.m. Jan. 27 at Barnes & Noble, 2191 N. Rainbow Blvd.

EVENTS

“Remembering Henry Hill,” ex-mobster turned author, actor and film producer Sal Polisi and guests will discuss the late Henry Hill at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road. Hill’s criminal life was portrayed in the film “GoodFellas.” Seating is first come, first served. Entry wristbands will be issued beginning at 6 p.m. from the theater box office. The monthly Poet’s Corner is at 7:30 p.m. the third Friday of the month at the West Las Vegas Arts Center, 947 W. Lake Mead Blvd.

STORY TIMES

Story time with music and crafts is offered Tuesdays at 11 a.m. at Barnes & Noble, 567 N. Stephanie St., Henderson.

Individual libraries within the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District offer a variety of story times and special events for children of all ages throughout the year. Most libraries require registration for their programs. Call the libraries for details.
