SIGNINGS

Author Terry Goodkind will sign and discuss “The Law of Nines” at 5 p.m. Friday at Barnes & Noble, 567 N. Stephanie St., Henderson.

Author Lewis Kimberly will sign and discuss “Granny McFanny” at noon Saturday at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, 6605 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

EVENTS

A free workshop discussing the “Art of the Memoir” featuring publisher Carolyn Hayes Uber, author Maralys Wills and editor Jami Carpenter will be at 1 p.m. today at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road.

Author Maralys Wills will present the workshop “Turning Your Real Life Story into a Book” at 11 a.m. Monday at Paseo Verde Library, 280 S. Green Valley Parkway, Henderson.

The Amazing Reads Book Club meets at 7 p.m. the fourth Wednesday of each month at West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Charleston Blvd.

The Breakfast Book Club meets at 11 a.m. the third Friday of the month at Sunrise Library, 5400 Harris Ave.

The SNAFFU Science Fiction Book Club meets at 2 p.m. the fourth Sunday of the month at the Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road. The Contemporary Fiction Book Club which usually meets the third Tuesday of the month will not be meeting.

The Desert Hearts romance book club meets at 6:30 p.m. the third Thursday of each month at Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave.

The Fantastic Classics Book Club meets at 7:15 p.m. the third Wednesday of the month at Paseo Verde Library, 280 S. Green Valley Parkway, Henderson.
