PUCKER UP

You know you want in on the red lipstick trend. It’s just a matter of narrowing down exactly which cosmetic counter — or aisle — you’ll visit to garner just the right shade. With price tags starting at mere pocket change (mosey down any grocery/drugstore beauty aisle), there really isn’t an excuse to miss out on a pair of seductive red lips.

N.Y.C and Wet ‘n Wild both provide tubes at more than reasonable prices.

For those who prefer to get their makeup at a source that specializes in just that, head to Ulta. You’ll find a bevy of shades and brands, such as L’Oreal, that offer products under $10.

Big spenders should head to an upscale department store to scope out their perfect shade. Lines such as Guerlain, Dior and Bobbi Brown can all provide a pretty color in an even prettier tube.

To really capture the trend, avoid the lip liner, apply the red directly to your lips, blot, reapply, blot and then pucker up.
