SHOW US YOUR PURSE

Name: Dana Andrew

Occupation: Vice president, marketing & public relations -- World Market Center

Occasion: During the Summer 2007 Las Vegas Market at World Market Center in the Art Dreams Home showroom

What kind of handbag? Marc Jacobs.

How much did it cost? I'll never tell!

Where did you get it? Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City.

What does your handbag say about you? A blend of sophistication and style; it's edgy and fun.

Why did you choose this handbag today? Big enough to hold all of my essentials plus fashion-forward enough for market week.

What do you like about this handbag? It transitions perfectly from day to night. I love that I can go from a business meeting to cocktails and dinner with this bag in tow. And the heavy gold chain could stop traffic -- very dramatic!

How many handbags do you own? I probably own 40. But only about 15 currently in rotation and less than five that I absolutely love.

What's the most you ever paid for a handbag? Pushing a thousand.

Image is ... critical, but not as important as substance.

What’s in your handbag? Clockwise from top: Gucci wallet, Dita sunglasses, Colorescience Sunforgettable SPF Powder with retractable brush, business card holder with frog, Chanel lip gloss and T-Mobile BlackBerry.
