Holiday centerpieces look great, taste better

With everyone feeling the pinch from the current economic situation, Kenneth Brown, a Los Angeles designer and the star of HGTV’s “reDesign” and TLC’s “Over Designed,” has come up with a simple, fast, affordable and edible way to decorate your table for Thanksgiving dinner.

All of the ingredients needed to create Brown’s edible arrangements can be purchased while you’re shopping for the turkey.

While adding beauty to holiday events, the centerpieces double as money savers because you can eat the arrangements after the party.

Each one Brown’s four arrangements takes less than 10 minutes to create, using just wooden skewers to hold the pieces together.

Installing ceiling fan is straightforward

Once you buy a ceiling fan, follow the manufacturer’s assembly instructions. With some fans, you attach the blades to the motor housing and then hang the completed fan, while with others, you secure the motor to the ceiling first and then attach the blades.

Palm trees do not get borers or sunburned trunks. Borer damage doesn’t happen much probably because they are monocots.
