Area residents are invited to join Clark County Cooperative Extension from 8 a.m. to noon Aug. 24 for a workshop on “Gardening in Small Places: Landscape Design.”

Participants will learn the basics to create a practical landscape design to turn a small space into a dream space. Master gardener Denise McConnell will offer tips for organizing your space and choosing size-appropriate plants to give the feeling of intimacy or create the illusion of more space.

Class space is limited and advance registration is required. There is a $25 fee, which includes class materials.

The session will be presented at the Lifelong Learning Center, 8050 Paradise Road.

To register, contact Elaine Fagin at fagine@unce.unr.edu or call 702-257-5573.
