HIKES
Red Rock Canyon: On Monday, join a geologist to view Permian fossils and discuss the geology, plants and animals encountered along a moderately strenuous, 2-mile hike to Badger Pass; for ages 10 and older. Also on Monday, learn about the native plants and animals you may encounter in Red Rock during an introduction to the Moenkopi Trail. On Wednesday, get an introduction to nature sketching and journal illustrating during an easy, three-quarter-mile hike at Willow Springs.

Around the Bend Friends: This group of people 50 and older who are involved in hiking and related social activities plans several hikes each week of various difficulty levels, including an easy-to-moderate social hike on Saturdays. OTHER PROGRAMS
Red Rock Canyon: On Monday, join a park ranger for a presentation on bats, then go to Red Spring to observe some of them in action. On Tuesday, view some of the venomous animals found in Red Rock, or create a masterpiece in an art class for ages 15 and older.
