Introduction to fly-fishing class set for Saturday

The Nevada Department of Wildlife will host a free introduction to fly-fishing class Saturday at its Las Vegas office, 4747 Vegas Drive.

The class will start at 9 a.m. and consists of two parts, a classroom portion and a casting skills portion that will take place at a nearby park. Instruction will end by 2 p.m.

During the classroom portion of the workshop, participants will learn terminology, knot-tying skills and how to choose equipment. This class is for those who are 12 years and older who would like a hands-on learning experience. Class size is limited.
