ICE CENTER FEATURES OPEN SKATE FOR ALL

The Las Vegas Ice Center, 9295 W. Flamingo Road, plans a freestyle skate from 7 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Admission is $9 for adults, $8 for kids and $5 for toddlers.

Nevada Desert Mermaids to perform

The Nevada Desert Mermaids synchronized swimming team plans to perform at 4 p.m. June 4 at Pavilion Center Pool, 101 S. Pavilion Center Drive.

5K/1-Mile event set for Saturday

The 4 Point 5K/1 Mile is set for 7 a.m. Saturday at Fleet Feet Sports Las Vegas, 7575 W. Washington Ave., Suite 123.

Registration is $30 and can be conducted at imathlete.com/events/the4point5k.

Race packets can be picked up from 4-7 p.m. Friday or beginning at 5:30 a.m. on race day at Fleet Feet.

The event benefits the Miss Greater Las Vegas & Miss Clark County Scholarship Program.
