The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 9041 S. Pecos Road, Suite 4000, Henderson, will have a celebration of the Rev. Helen McPeak’s ministry with evening prayer at 6 p.m. Wednesday. A reception will follow (693-4100).

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas will have its annual retreat on Sept. 1 at St. Viator’s Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. followed by a continental breakfast. The Rev. John McShane, Nevada state chaplain, will be the retreat priest.
