Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson, will present a concert by Celebrity City Chorus, a member of Sweet Adelines International, at 7:30 p.m. June 15. Admission is free. A goodwill offering will be received (454-8484).

First Presbyterian Church of Las Vegas, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd., will have a Patriotic Music Concert at 4 p.m. June 23. The concert will feature new organ arrangements of patriotic music and favorite American popular music. Admission is free (384-4554).


J.O.Y. Ministry will have its summer ladies prayer breakfast event from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 8, in Social Hall “B” at Sun City Aliante Community Center, 7394 Aliante Parkway, North Las Vegas. The entrance fee is $5 . For reservations, call 647-0015.

Congregation Ner Tamid’s golf tournament will feature 18 holes of golf, lunch, drawings, a celebrity bid auction, contests and prizes at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at Bear’s Best Las Vegas Golf Club, 11111 W. Flamingo Road. An awards and recognition luncheon will follow the tournament. Golf registration is $150; lunch only is $36. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. (733-6292;

Calvary Community Assembly of God, 2900 N. Torrey Pines Drive, will offer the Summer Food Service Program Monday through Friday through Aug. 23. The lunch service will be served from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Lunch is free of charge. No registration is required. Ages 2 to 18 will be accepted regardless of race, color, national origin, sex or disability.

United Methodist Social Ministries is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be served June 17 to Aug. 23 from noon to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding July 4-5, at Griffith United Methodist Church, 1701 E. Oakey Blvd. Lunch is free of charge. Ages 2 to 18 will be accepted regardless of race, color, national origin, sex or disability.

The Ramakrishna-Vedanta Center, 10732 Balsam Creek Road, will have arati at 5 p.m. June 20 followed by a lecture on the “Mystery of Science and Religion” by Swami Atmavidyananda of the Ramakrishna Order of India at 6 p.m. A potluck will follow (646-4889).

Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Elizabeth Ann Seton will have a bunco party from noon to 3 p.m. June 22 at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. The event will feature a luncheon, games and prizes. Tickets are $10 at the door. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. (646-1323).

Single Adults Learning Together, or SALT Ministries of CornerStone Christian Fellowship, meets at 6 p.m. Saturdays at 5825 W. Eldora Ave. (871-5050).
