Temple Beth Sholom offers a bereavement support group at 10 a.m. Tuesdays at 10700 Havenwood Lane (255-0043).

Creekside Hospice offers a bereavement support group at 2 p.m. Tuesdays at 3626 Pecos-McLeod Interconnect (650-7669).

Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4131 Swenson St., offers a children’s grief and loss support group for ages 7 to 12 at 5 p.m. Tuesdays and a teen grief and loss support group for ages 13 to 18 at 6 p.m. Tuesdays (796-3167).

Cornerstone Christian Fellowship offers a grief and loss support group the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at 5825 W. Eldora Ave. (457-2654 or 871-7354).

Surviving Suicide Loss, a bereavement support group for adults who have lost a loved one by suicide, meets at 6:30 p.m. the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Barbara Greenspun WomensCare Center, 100 N. Green Valley Parkway, Suite 330, in Henderson (616-4009).

The Barbara Greenspun WomensCare Center of Excellence hosts the Resolve Through Sharing Pregnancy Loss Support Group at 7 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 100 N. Green Valley Parkway, Suite 330, Henderson (616-4900).

Women’s Hope & Healing Al-Anon Family Group meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays at Advent United Methodist Church, 3460 N. Rancho Drive (254-9918).

Codependence Anonymous offers a Women’s Synergy Step Study at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at A Place for Miracles, 2160 W. Charleston Blvd., Suite C (804-0402).

Toxic Loving, a group for recovering codependents, meets at 6 p.m. Tuesdays at 9402 W. Lake Mead Blvd. (285-9447).

Gamblers Anonymous of Southern Nevada, a support group for those whose lives are troubled by gambling, meets at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at 55 Valle Verde Drive, Henderson (888-442-2110).

Compulsive Eaters Anonymous-HOW offers support group meetings each Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Derfelt Senior Center, 3333 W. Washington Ave., and 6:30 p.m. at Montevista Meeting Center, 6000 Rochelle Ave. (393-6570).

Take Off Pounds Sensibly No. 145 Henderson meets at 6 p.m. Tuesdays at Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway (617-2527).

Take Off Pounds Sensibly No. 146 Las Vegas meets at 10:45 a.m. Tuesdays at Sand Creek Mobile Home Community Center, 2627 S. Lamb Blvd. (388-1786).

Nevada Children’s Center offers a free adoption support group for parents who have adopted or who are in the process of adopting children. The group meets at 6 p.m. Tuesdays (736-8100).

The transgender support and advocacy group, an open support group for all transpersons and significant others, meets at 6 p.m. Tuesdays in the cafeteria at Desert Springs Hospital, 2075 E. Flamingo Road. There is no charge (392-2132).

The following support and recovery groups meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays at Central Christian Church, 1001 New Beginnings Drive, Henderson: anger management support group; DivorceCare; female survivors of childhood sexual abuse; Addicted to Hope; Grief Share; PRISM weight loss program; Transitions, for women who have left a verbally, mentally, emotionally or physically abusive relationship; and depression and bipolar disorder support group (735-4004, ext. 8302).

The Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Nevada meets the first Tuesday of each month at various times and locations (796-0430).

A Parkinson’s disease support group meets at 1 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month at Sutton Terrace Retirement Community, 3185 E. Flamingo Road (836-1216).

A free breast cancer support group meets at 6 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 3006 S. Maryland Parkway, Suite 250. Reservations are needed (784-7870).

The Diabetes in Children and Families support group meets at 7 p.m. the first Tuesday of the month at Southwest Medical Associates auditorium, 2300 W. Charleston Blvd. (364-5604).

The Adult Diabetes Education and Management Support Group meets at 6 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Charleston Blvd. (349-7370).

Village Oaks Las Vegas, 3025 E. Russell Road, offers a family support group at 10:30 a.m. on the second Tuesday of each month. The group discusses caregiving dilemmas, provides emotional support and exchanges coping skills (451-7896).

Las Vegas Alpha 1 Support Group, for people diagnosed with Alpha 1 Antirypsin Deficiency, meets at 6 p.m. most second Tuesdays of the month at Christ Episcopal Church, 2000 S. Maryland Parkway (645-3035).

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society offers a support group for parents of children diagnosed with any cancer. Meetings take place at 6:30 p.m. every fourth Tuesday of the month. (436-4220).
