The Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Nevada meets the first Tuesday of each month at various times and locations (796-0430).

A free breast cancer support group meets at 6 p.m. the first and third Tuesday of each month at 3006 S. Maryland Parkway, Suite 250. Reservations are needed (784-7870).

Temple Beth Sholom offers a bereavement support group at 10 a.m. Tuesdays at 10700 Havenwood Lane (255-0043).

Creekside Hospice offers a bereavement support group at 2 p.m. Tuesdays at 3626 Pecos-McLeod Interconnect (650-7669).

Cornerstone Christian Fellowship offers a grief and loss support group the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at 5825 W. Eldora Ave. (457-2654 or 871-7354).

Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4131 Swenson St., offers a children’s grief and loss support group for ages 7 to 12 at 5 p.m. Tuesdays and a teen grief and loss support group for ages 13 to 18 at 6 p.m. Tuesdays (796-3167).

A bipolar/manic depressive support group meets at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Christ Lutheran Church, 111 N. Torrey Pines Drive (638-8339 or 648-6888).

Co-Dependents Anonymous, a nonsmoking 12-step program for women, meets at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at First Christian Church, 101 S. Rancho Drive, Room 1 (452-2840 or 743-8612).

Women’s Hope & Healing Al-Anon Family Group meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays at Advent United Methodist Church, 3460 N. Rancho Drive (254-9918).

Arrid Sunrise Al-Anon meets at 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Saturdays at 1841 N. Lamb Blvd. (453-2417).

Green Valley Stepping Stones Al-Anon meets at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at 3565 Post Road, Unit 112 (251-1445).

Al-Anon Morning Glories meets at 10 a.m. Tuesdays at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, 43 W. Pacific Ave., Henderson (436-0825).

The Summerlin Nooners Support Group for Families and Friends of Alcoholics meets at noon Tuesdays at Desert Spring United Methodist Church, 120 Pavilion Center Drive (243-6417 or 341-6729).

The transgender support and advocacy group, an open support group for all transpersons and significant others, meets at 6 p.m. Tuesdays in the cafeteria at Desert Springs Hospital, 2075 E. Flamingo Road. There is no charge (392-2132).

A hepatitis C therapeutic support group meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays at Community Counseling Center, 1120 Almond Tree Lane. Meetings are open to those affected by the disease, their families and friends (369-8700).

Sex and Love Addiction Anonymous, a 12-step program, meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays at First Church of Religious Science, 1420 E. Harmon Ave., Room 4 (622-6760).

Take Off Pounds Sensibly No. 145 Henderson meets at 6 p.m. Tuesdays at Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway (617-2527).

Take Off Pounds Sensibly No. 146 Las Vegas meets at 11:15 a.m. Tuesdays at Sand Creek Mobile Home Community Center, 2627 S. Lamb Blvd. (388-1786).

Nevada Children’s Center offers a free adoption support group for parents who have adopted or who are in the process of adopting children. The group meets at 6 p.m. Tuesdays (736-8100).

Pills Anonymous has support group meetings every day at 7 p.m. at the Spring Valley Club, 2400 S. Jones Blvd., No. 10 (227-1212, 304-8217).

The Alzheimer’s Association of Southern Nevada offers support groups that meet at several locations (248-2770). The 24-hour telephone help line is (800) 272-3900.

Cross-dresser support meetings are offered monthly for the Society for the Second Self, or Tri-Ess, for heterosexual cross-dressers, wives, girlfriends and significant others (387-3891).

The East Las Vegas Area of Narcotics Anonymous has weekly support group meetings at various times and locations (898-8111).

A 12-step program for Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints members and their families is offered Mondays through Fridays at various locations (896-5650).

Gamblers Anonymous meets at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily at 12 Steps for Living, 21 Army St., Henderson (385-7732).

Nevada Tobacco User’s Helpline offers group counseling for those who want to quit tobacco use (877-0684).

The From Ashes to Beauty program for women who are or have been in an emotionally, verbally or physically abusive relationship, meets at New Horizons Christian Church, 3085 Raven Ave. (614-6045).
