The Barbara Greenspun WomensCare Center of Excellence offers an ALS support group at 11:30 a.m. the second Tuesday of each month at 100 N. Green Valley Parkway, Suite 330, Henderson (616-4900).

Las Vegas Alpha 1 Support Group, for people diagnosed with Alpha 1 Antirypsin Deficiency, meets at 6 p.m. most second Tuesdays of the month at Christ Episcopal Church, 2000 S. Maryland Parkway (645-3035).

The Ostomy Support Group meets at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month in the Rendezvous Room at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, 3186 S. Maryland Parkway (474-1104).

Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4131 Swenson St., offers a children's grief and loss support group for ages 7 to 12 at 5 p.m. Tuesdays and a teen grief and loss support group for ages 13 to 18 at 6 p.m. Tuesdays (796-3167).

Sex Addicts Anonymous, a 12-step based recovery program, offers a share and feedback meeting for men and women at 6 p.m. Tuesdays at 4750 W. Sahara Ave. (212-7599).

Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous is a nonsmoking 12-step program to deal with compulsive behaviors. Meetings are at 4 p.m. Tuesdays (501-8368).

The transgender support and advocacy group, an open support group for all transpersons and significant others, meets at 6 p.m. Tuesdays in the cafeteria at Desert Springs Hospital, 2075 E. Flamingo Road. There is no charge (392-2132).

Take Off Pounds Sensibly No. 145 Henderson meets at 6 p.m. Tuesdays at Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway (617-2527).

Take Off Pounds Sensibly No. 146 Las Vegas meets at 11:15 a.m. Tuesdays at Sand Creek Mobile Home Community Center, 2627 S. Lamb Blvd. (388-1786).

Nevada Children's Center offers a free adoption support group for parents who have adopted or who are in the process of adopting children. The group meets at 6 p.m. Tuesdays (736-8100).
